Ice-free cryo vial preparation and alcohol-free cell freezing
Advantages:
Complete system for uniform ice-free temperature control of cryo vials during preparation for cryopreservation and subsequent alcohol-free cell freezing. Ideal for cold vial preparations done in bio-safety cabinet and small-batch freezing (up to 12 standard 2ml cryo vials) in a -80C freezer or dry ice locker. Consistent temperature and minimal handling of cryo vials during prepration. Highly reproducible freezing profiles - vial to vial, run to run.
Kit includes:
CoolBox CFT30 - Includes CoolBox ice-free cooling container and CoolRack CFT30 cryo vial holder. CoolBox keeps CoolRack CFT cold (0.5℃ to 4.0℃) for up to 10 hours with high well-to-well temperature uniformity. "Gripping" well design of CoolRack CFT inside the CoolBox allows one-hand vial opening/closing for minimal handling and efficient work flow.
CoolCell-12 - Place prepared cryo vials in CoolCell for alcohol-free, controlled rate -1℃/minute freezing in a -80℃ freezer or dry ice locker. No pre-cooling. Holds up to 12 standard 1ml or 2ml cryo vials.

Precision-design and optimal materials ensure highly reproducible temperature control during vial preparation and cell freezing cycle. Made of highly durable closed-cell high-density foam, CoolBox and CoolCell will not absorb moisture and can be cleaned with bleach. CoolCell holds 12 cryo vials and can withstand repeated use and prolonged stay in -80℃ freezer. Not cold to touch when cold or frozen, lids open easily. CoolCell can be re-used just five minutes after being removed from -80℃ freezer.
