CoolRack® 96 – 96-well tube modules
Thermo-conductive temperature control for 0.5ml and 1.4ml 96-well tube platforms

CoolRack 96 modules accomodate 96 0.5ml or 1.4ml straight-sided tubes, such as common 2D barcode storage tubes.
The CoolRack Concept
CoolRack eliminates "user technique" inconsistencies which occur due to insertion of tubes directly into ice, dry ice, alcohol baths, water baths and other common temperature sources. Place the CoolRack module directly onto the temperature source and it will rapidly adapt to that temperature - from -196°C to +100°C. CoolRack modules ensure temperature standardization of all tubes when cooling, (snap)freezing or heating/thawing samples.
Source temperatures could include:
- ice
- dry ice
- liquid nitrogen
- water bath
- other common temperature sources
Sample tubes inserted into the CoolRack will remain at the desired temperature through the thermo-conductive properties of the CoolRack alloy. All sample tubes will maintain a consistent temperature (+/- 0.1°C with no "edge effect") while staying secure, dry and organized.
