CoolSink™ 96U
Thermo-conductive plate module for 96-well u-bottom plates (#BCS-107)

CoolSink 96U is a thermo-conductive plate holder for 96-well u-bottom SBS-format plates. The top surface of the CoolSink has 96 u-shaped wells to accommodate the under-surface of the u-bottom plate so each well nests in maximum contact with the CoolSink alloy. When placed on ice, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, water bath or any other temperature source, CoolSink 96U provides rapid and evenly-distributed cooling or heating to all wells, eliminating "edge effect."

Precision-engineered "direct contact" stage design eliminates the insulating air gap typically found between the bottom of the plate wells and the temperature source. CoolSink 96U ensures well-to-well temperature consistency, eliminating "edge effect" and resulting in more precise and reproducible procedures.
Also achieve ice-free plate cooling by inserting CoolRack 96U plate module into CoolBox MP System (#BCS-144). Provides ice-free organization, protection and temperature standardization to all wells.
